Expression of interest for the re-skilling & training development for jobseekers in seychelles during covid-19 pandemic crisis

The Employment Department is inviting expression of interest from locally interested service providers for the Re-skilling and Training Development for Jobseekers in Seychelles.

Applicants are being invited to:

  • To develop a comprehensive training and re-skilling programme for at least 25 jobseekers for a period of 1 week to 3months depending on the programme over a period of one year.
  • To provide mentorship to jobseekers
  • Provide Training and empowerment support
  • To help the jobseekers embrace continuous professional development as new normal
  • Provide a platform for participants to assess and identify their strengths and weaknesses in line with the economic activities available

More information can be found in the Terms of Reference (TOR), which can be collected at the Ministry of Employment & Social Affairs reception, 5th Floor as from Tuesday 30th March 2021 to Wednesday 7th April 2021 from 8a.m to 4p.m.

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on Friday 9th April, 2021 at 10am at the Employment Department Conference Room, 5th Floor, Independence House.

Submission of Expression of Interest:

All interested parties should convey their interest to the “DIRECTOR GENERAL EMPLOYMENT PROMOTION, MINISTRY OF EMPLOYMENT & SOCIAL AFFAIRS, INDEPENDENCE HOUSE ANNEX BUILDING, VICTORIA, MAHE, SEYCHELLES” not later than 4.00 pm on Friday 16th April, 2021 in writing in a sealed envelope.

The expression of Interest should as a minimum contain the following:

  • Training plan
  • Qualification in Management/ Human resource management or fields related to the scope of work
  • Copy of Business Registration Certificate and Business License (if applicable)
  • Bidder profile (CV)
  • documents showing proof of at-least 3 years of experience in specific areas (Client list must be attached/Completion Certificate of similar project)
  • Proven track record of successful training undertaken
  • Excellent ability to communicate and work in a team

Bidders who fully meet the eligibility criteria will be subsequently invited to participate in the financial bid for the tender.
