DEMOLITION & RECONSTRUCTION OF WORKSHOP ROOF AT POWER STATION B

Subject: PUC intends to demolish the existing reinforced concrete roof for it’s workshop located at the Power Station B, and replace with a steel frame roof with zinc alum roofing sheets. Building footprint approx. 13m x 12m. The Works shall comprise of the following:

  1. Demolition of reinforced concrete roof.
  2. Construction & installation of roof steel frames and roofing sheets.
  3. Remedial reinforced concrete works to repair existing structural members.

Collection of tender: Tender dossier can be obtained from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue, payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 500.00 each as from Friday 12th April 2024 to Friday 19th April 2024,08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document.

Pre-Bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 10:00hrs at 10:00hrs at the PUC Head Office Roche Caiman, Electricity House followed by:

Site-Visit: A site visits on the project site on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 10:00hrs after the pre-bid meeting. 

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and the site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Demolition & Reconstruction of Workshop Roof at Power Station B” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Closing date for tender:The closing date for the tender is Monday 6th May 2024 at 10:00hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Monday 6th May 2024 at 10:00hrs at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Bidders or their representative are welcome to attend the opening.
