PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE - PROCUREMENT OF CIVIL WORKS COMPONENT FOR THE PORT VICTORIA REHABILITATION AND EXTENSION PROJECT

The contract will entail the construction of a new deck on pile structure, approximately 310m long, together with the associated revetment, reclamation and back of quay paving works and services on the south-east of the existing quays at the Commercial Port in Port Victoria and the deepening of the berth pocket and navigational area to meet the functional requirements of the new quay. The expected duration of the contract is 24 months.

Prospective applicants demonstrating suitable experience in design, construction, testing and commissioning of marine structural and civil infrastructure and in particular, the execution of piled marine structures, dredging, reclamation and coastal engineering works were invited to submit an application for prequalification. The deadline for the submission was originally set for Friday 12th April 2024 but later extended to Friday 19th April 2024. Twelve (12) applications were received by SPA at the revised submission date.

Following the evaluation of the applications, the following seven (7) applicants have been prequalified to submit a bid:

  5. ITD CEMENTATION INDIA LIMITED
  6. CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED
  7. JAN DE NUL DREDGING LIMITED
