CONSTRUCTION OF FOOTBRIDGE AT FOND B’OFFAY, BAIE STE ANNE, PRASLIN

Eligibility: All Registered Contractors with a valid Class I license.

Subject: PUC intends to build a nine-metre-long footbridge across the Fond B’offay River, Praslin. The Works will comprise of the following:

  1. Earthworks
  2. Masonry works
  3. Concrete works
  4. Structural steelworks (truss structures)
  5. Painting works

Collection of tenders: Tender dossier can be obtained from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue and at PUC’s Office, Baie Ste Anne Praslin against payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 300.00 each as from Wednesday 26th March 2025 to Wednesday 2nd April 2025 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document. 

Pre-Bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 9th April 2025 at 10:00hrs at Conference Room, PUC Office, Baie Ste Anne Praslin.

Followed by:

Site-Visit: A site visit will be held on the project site at Fond B’offay on Wednesday 9th April 2025 after the pre-bid meeting.

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and the site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Fencing Works at Salazie Treatment Works, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, Attic Floor, Care House, Victoria, Mahé or at the PUC Office, Security Post, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Closing date for tender: The closing date for the tender is Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 10:00hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 10:00hrs at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, Attic Floor, Care House, Victoria, Mahé and at the PUC Office, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Bidders or their representatives are welcome to attend the opening.
