CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ROCHE CAIMAN NO. 3 PUMP STATION AND NEW LE ROCHER PUMP STATION

Subject:  The Government of Seychelles has received funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the European Development Fund and the African Water Facility towards the cost of the Seychelles Water & Sanitation Project. The Project is implemented by Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) of Seychelles as Promoter, Procuring Entity and Contracting Authority.

The contract includes the construction of the new Pump Station Roche Caiman No. 3 (total 4 pumps each 182.30 m3/h) and new Pump Station Le Rocher (total 4 pumps each 189.40 m3/h). The Works shall comprise of the following:

1. Excavation Works

2. Backfilling and Compaction works

3. Land Reclamation

4. Construction of concrete structures (columns, beams, foundation, slabs, etc.)

5. Mechanical works

6. Electrical works

7. Masonry works

Collection of tender: Tender dossier can be obtained from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue against payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 500.00 each as from Wednesday 14th September 2022 to Wednesday 21st September 2022 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document.

Pre-Bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 28th September 2022 at 10:00hrs at Conference Room, PUC Office, Electricity House, Roche Caiman.

Followed by:

Site-Visit: A site visit will be held on the project site starting at Roche Caiman on Wednesday 28th September 2022 after the pre-bid meeting.

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and the site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Ref. No. GV/W02: Construction of New Roche Caiman No. 3 Pump Station and New Le Rocher Pump Station” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB)Secretariat, 1st Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Closing date for tender: The closing date for the tender is Wednesday 26th October 2022 at 10:00hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Wednesday 26th October 2022 at 10:00hrs at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Bidders or their representative are welcome to attend the opening.
