ROOF REPLACEMENT OF MIRRLEES ENGINE HALL AT PUC POWER STATION, BAIE STE ANNE, PRASLIN

Subject: PUC intends to replace the damaged roofing sheets of the Mirrlees engine hall at PUC Power Station, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin with new roofing sheets. The Works will comprise of the following:

  1. Removal of existing roofing sheets
  2. Removal of existing rain gutter, vents and downpipes
  3. Installation of new roofing sheets
  4. Installation of new rain gutter and downpipes

Collection of tenders:  Tender dossier can be obtained from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue and at PUC’s Office, Baie Ste Anne Praslin against payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 300.00 each as from Thursday 15th December 2022 to Thursday 22nd December 2022 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document.

Pre-Bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 28th December 2022 at 10:00hrs at the Conference Room, PUC Office, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Site-Visit: A site visit will be held on the project site at PUC Power Station, Baie Ste Anne on Wednesday 28th December 2022 after the pre-bid meeting. 

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and the site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Roof Replacement of Mirrlees Engine Hall at PUC Power Station, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé or at the PUC Office, Security Post, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Closing date for tender: The closing date for the tender is Wednesday 11th January 2023 at 10:00hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Wednesday 11th January 2023 at 10:00hrs at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé and at the PUC Office, Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Bidders or their representatives are welcome to attend the opening.
