PIPELINE REPLACEMENT FROM GLACIS TO SORENTO – PHASE 1

Eligibility: All Locally Registered Contractors with a valid Class One (1) license for such work.

Subject: PUC intends to undertake water pipeline replacement from Glacis to Sorento. The Works shall comprise of the following:

  1. Excavation and Backfilling works
  2. Pipelaying works
  3. Concrete and asphalt cutting works
  4. Reinstatement works
  5. Reinforced concrete works

Collection of tender: Tender dossier can be obtained from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue against payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 500.00 each as from Monday 15th May 2023 to Friday 19th May 2023 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document.

Pre-Bid meeting:A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at 10:00hrs at the PUC Conference Room, Electricity House, Roche Caiman

Followed by:

Site-Visit: A site visit on the project site on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 after the pre-bid meeting. 

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and the site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Pipeline replacement from Glacis to Sorento – Phase 1” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Closing date for tender: The closing date for the tender is Tuesday 6th June 2023 at 10:00hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Tuesday 6th June 2023 at 10:00hrs at the National Tender Board (NTB) Secretariat, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Bidders or their representative are welcome to attend the opening.
