CONSTRUCTION OF A REINFORCED CONCRETE CONTAINMENT WALL FOR POWERSTATION B FUEL TANKS

Eligibility: All Registered Contractors with a valid Class One (1) license.

Subject: PUC will undertake the construction of a reinforced concrete containment wall using reinforced concrete at Power Station B, in order to protect the fuel tanks.  The Works will comprise of the following:

  1. Excavation and backfilling works
  2. Demolition of existing masonry wall
  3. Reinforced concrete foundation and wall
  4. Plastering works
  5. Finishing works

 Collection of tender: Tender dossier can be obtained from the Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue against payment of a non-refundable fee of SCR 500.00 each as from Monday 11th September 2023 to Tuesday 19th September 2023 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs. All interested Bidders should provide a copy of their valid license, a copy of the Tax Clearance Certificate for the Financial Year 2023 and are allowed to inspect the document before purchasing the document.

Pre-Bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27th September 2023 at 10:00hrs at PUC Conference Room, Electricity House, Roche Caiman

Site-Visit:  A site visit will be held on the project site on Wednesday 27th September 2023 after the pre-bid meeting.

Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders failing to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit will be disqualified in the evaluation process.

Submission of Tender: Tenders must be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé” and submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Construction of a reinforced concrete containment wall for PowerStation B fuel tanks” and deposited in the tender box located at the National Tender Board (NTB), Maison de Mahé, Victoria.

Closing date for tender:The closing date for the tender is Thursday 12th October 2023 at 10:30hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Thursday 12th October 2023 at the National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé not later than 10:30hrs Seychelles time.

Bidders are welcome to attend the opening.
