The Ministry of Agriculture Climate Change and Environment through the Program Development Coordination Section wishes to inform interested consultant / consultancy firms that it will be procuring consultancy services to Conduct a Habitat/Activity Mapping for the Expansion and Sustainable Management of the Port Glaud Ramsar Site and Expansion of the Ile Cocos Marine National Park through the use of "Limited Bidding Method” in line with Section 61 2 (a) of the Public Procurement Act of 2008.

The objective of this consultancy is to undertake marine/coastal habitat and socio-economic activity mapping exercises of areas and vulnerable habitats adjacent to the Port Glaud Ramsar site and Iles Cocos MNP to propose specific areas of expansion for both sites, and recommend the designation of the Ramsar site as a new protected area.
