Hire of lifting and transportation facilities 

  1. Lifting and transportation cable stands (x3) from Roche Caiman Power Station to Ste Anne Jetty, including loading on vessel.
  2. Lifting and transportation cable drums (x3, 14.5T) from Roche Caiman to Ste Anne Jetty, including loading on vessel.
  3. Unloading and transportation of equipment to Roche Caiman site after cable installation. 

Charter of vessel

  1. Transportation of Cables from Mahe to Praslin (3 drums of 3.5km each).
  2. Installation of submarine cable from Round Island to Eve Island – Praslin.
  3. Return trip to Mahe with equipment.

Deadline for submission of EOI

Letter of Application along with requested documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope labelled HIRING OF BARGE AND CRANE FOR LIFTING, TRANSPORTATION AND LAYING OF UNDERSEA CABLE shall be delivered to the Tender Box at the reception area of Maison Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue or via e-mail address tender@puc.sc no later than Friday 04th March 2022 at 2:00 pm.
