CONSTRUCTION OF FOOTPATH AND INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS AT ILE DU PORT

The Seychelles Land Transport Agency (SLTA) invites tenderers to tender for the “CONSTRUCTION OF FOOTPATH AND INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS AT ILE DU PORT”. The project's aim is to construct a footpath from the Helena building to the judiciary building. The project will also involve the removal of existing streetlights and the installation of new streetlights within the designated green area. These improvements will not only illuminate the pathway but also contribute to the overall safety of road users in the area.

 SOURCE OF FINANCE: Government of Seychelles.

 ELIGIBILITY: The following are eligible to tender on equal terms. All Contractors Class 1 only registered and licensed to operate in Seychelles.

 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Ile Du Port, Mahe.

 PERFORMANCE PERIOD: One hundred and Fifty (150) working days.

ACCESS TO TENDER DOSSIER: The Tender Dossiers can be obtained from the SLTA’s Head Office at Dream gate Complex, 1st Floor, Block B, Ile Du Port as of Tuesday 1st April 2025 from 9.00am to 12.00 pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SR500.00 each. The deadline date for obtaining the dossier shall be Monday 7th April not later than 3.00 pm.

Potential Bidders shall provide a copy of the valid license upon purchase of the tender dossier. Potential Bidder shall be allowed to inspect the tender dossier prior to purchase.

SITE VISIT: A mandatory site information meeting/site visit has been organized on Tuesday 8th April 2025 at 10.00 am and the meeting place will be at Ile Du Port opposite the Independent Secondary School. Failure to attend the site information meeting /site visit will result in the disqualification of the bidder during the Evaluation process.

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:

TENDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE MARKED, “CONSTRUCTION OF FOOTPATH AND INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS AT ILE DU PORT” AND DEPOSITED IN THE TENDER BOX LOCATED AT THE NATIONAL TENDER BOARD (NTB) SECRETARIAT ATTIC FLOOR, CARE HOUSE, VICTORIA BEFORE 11.00AM ON THURSDAY 24TH APRIL 2025. TENDERS WILL BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSING AT 11.00AM. BIDDERS OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE TENDER OPENING SESSION.

ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED TO THE BIDDER.
