CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE SBC MEDIUM WAVE TRANSMITTER

The Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced consultants in radio frequency engineering to carry out a feasibility study to validate the plan to relocate the SBC’s Medium Wave (MW) radio transmitter installation to a new site.

A key outcome of the feasibility study will be a propagation study from the proposed site that will ensure an adequate and satisfactory reception of the MW signal throughout the whole of the Seychelles territory.

The consultancy must also include a review of cost-effective alternatives to delivering the current Medium Wave radio (Radyo Sesel) service. This analysis shall include comparisons of the MW Radio Broadcast system relative to other technologies that could offer comparable or better coverage and reception of the service throughout the Seychelles archipelago.
