PROCUREMENT OF GROUND MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS

The Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) wishes to inform interested parties that it will be undertaking the procurement of Ground-Mounted Transformers (ranging between 200kVA to 1,000kVA capacity) as part of substation equipment requirement for its stock replenishment, through the adoption of Limited Bidding Method under Section 61 2 (a) of the Public Procurement Act 2008.

This is on the grounds of restricted qualified sources to provide the goods and services as per specifications.

The proposed shortlisted bidders are as follows:

• Automation & Power Products Ltd (APP)
• Green Transfo Energy (Turkey Enerji Endustrisi Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S)
• LTL Transformer (Pvt) Ltd

The tender is restricted for potential Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) only, that can supply / deliver to the requirement within a specific time frame.

Any potential bidder requiring any information on this procurement or wishing to participate in this procurement, may contact or submit their interest containing the below submission requirements via email to the Procurement Section of the PUC based at Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue.

The following information must be submitted along with their interests:

• Technical literature of the required transformer along with past test reports.
• List of past supplies in the past two years, rendered in this field.

Deadline for submission of interest should be done no later than 2nd July 2025.
