HIRING OF BOATS, DIVERS AND DIVING EQUIPMENT FOR LAYING OF SUBMARINE CABLE BETWEEN EVE ISLAND AND ROUND ISLAND

  • Lot 1: Boats

(a) Those classified as Hire Craft for transportation of divers and diving equipment and assistance during cable installation, and

(b) small or medium size boats (mini-Mahe) for transportation of other equipment and at times workers

  • Lot 2: Certified Open Water Divers with at least two to three years’ experience.
  • Lot 3: Hiring of full sets of diving equipment (minimum requirement: a tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, finsand a weight belt).

Collection of tender: Tender dossier can be obtained via email ID nchetty@puc.sc cc: blista@puc.sc or hard copy from the PUC’s Procurement Office, Maison de Malavois, Bois de Rose Avenue for a non-refundable fee of SCR200.00 as from Wednesday 9th February 2022 to Wednesday 16th February 2022 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs and 13.00hrs to 16.00hrs.

Submission of Tender:Bidders can submit their bids to the“Chief Executive Officer, National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé”before the deadline date and time as follows:

Option 1: In a sealed envelope marked “Rates for Hiring of Boats, Divers and Equipment for laying of submarine cable’’ and deposited in the tender box located at theNational Tender Board (NTB), Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Option 2: via email to NTBtenderbox@gov.sc.

Deadline Date & Time: The closing date for the tender is Monday 21st February 2022 at 10:30hrs.

Opening of Tender: Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time: Monday 21st February 2022 at 10:30hrs at the National Tender Board, First Floor, Maison de Mahé, Victoria, Mahé.

Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening.
