Condition

The interested bidders will be required to address the following criteria in writing and must include all information requested within this document to be considered, including:

  • The full details (name, address and contact details) of all parties involved in the tender process
  • Provide Details of any previous experience within the hospitality industry with particular emphasis in operating a café business.
  • The Proposal should give detailed information on the type of services to be offered including food/beverages/eat-in/take-out options.
  • Proposed pricing structure (food, soft drinks, tea & coffee, etc.);
  • Names and contact details of two references, one financial and one the most recent employer/leaseholder.
  • Demonstrate a financial capacity to operate a business of this type.
  • Provide Details of the proposed business operation, including opening days, hours and staffing

   Structures and café staff dress code;

  • Rent amount proponent is to pay for the lease as specified in the Document.
  • Proposed marketing and publicity strategy and proposed strategy for engaging with the National Library;
  • Provided an Annual business plan, including financial and cash flow projections;
  • Proposal for dealing with waste disposal and cleaning requirements;
  • Provide Details of Company profile ( where applicable)
  • Provided Proof of verifiable previous experiences of similar services
  • Copies of registration certificate and business licenses (where applicable)

The Terms of Reference (TOR) can collected at the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, Maison Esplande 4th Floor, Victoria as from Wednesday 8th February, 2023. Deadline for the collection of TOR will be Tuesday 14th February, 2023 at 3.30pm It is compulsory for all interested bidders to collect the detailed TOR before submitting any response to this Invitation to tender

Interesting individual/ Companies are welcome to attend a mandatory site visit and meeting on   Friday 17th February, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Maison Esplanade Building, Victoria.  Please note that it is mandatory for all interested bidders to attend the meeting. Bidders failing to attend will be disqualified.

The eligible individual/Companies must submit their response in a sealed envelope marked ‘procurement of services for Cafeteria Operation’’ and addressed to:

The Deadline for submission of response is Monday 27th February, 2023 at 3.30pm and no response will be accepted after the set deadline.

Only the applicants meeting the qualification criteria shall be shortlisted.
